TBS has a team of specialists and equipment for various environmental monitoring. Followings are the list of equipment which will be used for environmental monitoring.

Air Quality Monitoring

The air monitoring survey will be completed using the High-Volume Air Sampler (TISCH Environmental) for Total Suspended Particulate (TSP) and Particulate Matter less than 10 micrometer (PM10). TISCH High volume air samplers are used for the collection of airborne particulate matter in ambient air. They are available for the collection of Total Suspended particulates (TSP), particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter of less than 10µm (PM10). This instrument is factory calibrated with the appropriate US EPA certified target gas and correlated with US EPA methods. (Ref: Code of Federal Regulation 40CFR part 53). Air quality will be monitored with HAZ-SCANNER EPAS portable device (Figure). HAZ Scanner can be configured for up to 9 simultaneous air measurements including standard configuration of PM10, PM2.5, NO2, CO, CO2, O3, CH4, SO2, and VOCs.

Noise & Vibration Level Monitoring

Noise level monitoring will be measured with the Digital Sound Level Meter (Benetech, GM1356). It complies with standard of IEC PUB 651 Type 2 and ANSI S1.4 Type 2. Picture of noise level monitoring measurement is shown in Figure .
Nomis Seismograph monitor ground vibrations and air over-pressure with ease and accuracy. It can be used for vibration and sound monitoring activities including blasting operations, pile driving operations, construction equipment activity, environmental activity, ambient levels, and any other operation where a permanent record is needed (Figure 4).

Water Quality Monitoring

TBS provides monitoring services for water quality of industrial effluent, surface and ground water. Water samples will be collected with beaker or sampler and transported to certified laboratories.

In-situ Water Quality Instrument

In-situ water quality measurement will be carried out for the water used for domestic purpose by using handheld instrument named Oakton PCTS TestrTM Waterproof Pocket tester (See Figure ).

Soil Contamination Test

Soil samples from the project site is taken by Augur and transferred to certified laboratory for contamination test.

Workplace Light & Temperature Monitoring

TBS provides services for measurement of workplace light and temperature level to reveal whether workplace area meet with relevant standards

Topographic Survey with RTK, GPS, Total Station and Drone

TBS has survey team and equipment to conduct topographic survey and mapping. TBS survey team can conduct topographic survey, construction survey, RTK GPS survey as well as drone mapping. A picture of drone mapping conducted at Popa Taung Kalat is shown in Figure 5.
